Meth lab located in Louisiana parish
On Jan. 26, the Beauregard/DeRidder, Louisiana Narcotics Task Force went to the Allen and Terri Jackson residence at 1687 Longville Road in Longville, Louisiana. The Task Force went to serve arrest warrants which stemmed from an investigation in mid-December 2003 in which the Louisiana Task Force had received information that the Jackson's were possessing and manufacturing methamphetamine. At that time, Louisiana Task Force officers found marijuana, methamphetamine and parts of a methamphetamine lab.
The evidence was collected and sent to the Crime Lab for analysis. Warrants were eventually obtained and Louisiana Task Force officers returned to the Jackson residence on Monday to serve the warrants. Upon arrival of the Louisiana Task Force, they observed Allen Jackson in the front yard of his residence in the process of distributing narcotics to an individual. Louisiana Task Force officers arrested Allen Jackson and then arrested Terri Jackson who was in the residence. Louisiana Task Force officers then obtained permission to search the Jackson residence.
Louisiana Task Force officers found numerous firearms, methamphetamine and marijuana inside the residence. Both Jacksons were arrested and booked into the Beauregard Parish, Louisiana Jail. After arresting the Jacksons, Louisiana Task Force officers went to the Michael Fontenot residence based on information that a methamphetamine lab was there. Upon arrival, Task Force officers obtained permission to search the residence. The search revealed elements used to manufacture methamphetamine, marijuana and a firearm. Fontenot was brought to the Beauregard Parish, Louisiana Sheriff's Office and was arrested. Fontenot remains in jail along with Allen and Terri Jackson pending the setting of bond.
The investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.
